Joint Sony Scene Brisbane Food Photography Workshop

I am so excited to be running a food photography workshop at Brisbane’s Bar Spritz with fellow Sony Advocate Matthew Gilligan. Matthew and I first met earlier this year in Sydney, at the Sony HQ and immediately hit it off. We discussed the possibility of working together in the future, but given I am from Brisbane and Matthew is from Port Macquarie, we weren't quite sure how this would work.

Our photography styles, subjects and techniques are quite different, but we felt that this would be a positive, both in learning from each other, and from a teaching point of view.

With us both having experience with food photography, we thought this would be a great place to start. Matthew who is also a former chef is passionate about food photography and utilises natural light to capture images for businesses in and around Port Macquarie. Craig on the other hand uses both natural light as well as artificial light in his food and product photography work around Brisbane.

With the combination of styles and techniques the workshop on offer is going to be jam packed, hands-on learning experience for anyone interested in food or product photography. Whether for your own business or to start up your own social media or food photography business.

The workshop is being run at the very popular Bar Spritz on top of the Kangaroo Point Cliffs and will have a maximum of 10 participants.
